RADIUS joins existing efforts in Douglas County, Nebraska, to strengthen the continuum of services and alternatives for youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Located in Omaha, NE, the innovative 501(c)(3) restores relationships between youth, families, and their community through community engagement and trauma-informed education, social and behavioral health services. Through Pineapple’s modern designs, RADIUS was able to provide a home-like environment for their residents.
Located throughout the facility, the Rock Dining Table and Rock Chair are elegantly designed while offering strength and support. The chairs and tables feature solid birch frames with durable soft edges. The Rock chair is designed with cross-braced skies for added strength and maneuverability. This set can be used for both dining and activity and is built to last.
The bedrooms feature the Harby Bed, Rock Chair, and Harby Open Desk. The Harby range is a simple and stylistic bedroom range. These pieces create minimized concealment opportunities and are designed to provide strength and durability.
Boden beanbag chairs provide relaxed seating in the recreation and living areas which offer a comfortable spot for reading, gaming or watching TV. Products in our Boden range have anti-tamper features to prevent misuse. Our beanbag filling is made from 100% recycled content, making use of waste foam from the manufacture of our soft seating ranges.
The recreation area also features our Snug Modular Seating. The Snug range combines sumptuous comfort with durable reinforcement. Featuring a versatile modular design, the Snug can be customized to various formation. The couch promotes social inclusion and superior comfort.
The products chosen for RADIUS were chosen with safety, durability, and strength in mind. Through Pineapple’s innovative designs, the products chosen for the facility will aid in creating a rehabilitative environment for teens.
