We were pleased to have worked alongside the center and the project’s principal contractor Storm Building during the recent refurbishment of the behavioral health ward of this center.
Furniture in hospitals has to withstand high levels of traffic and cope with extensive cleaning to alleviate hygiene concerns. This facility is an adult acute mental health ward, therefore delivering furniture that provides a non-clinical appearance without negating the importance of hygiene and safety was paramount.
Our Sovie beds were selected alongside our Hamble Plus ranges for the bedrooms. Sovie offers extreme strength, durability and the outer skin provides a finish that is water resistant and anti-bacterial. The smooth edges of the Sovie bed help reduce ligature points and, for extra security, its design allows the bed to be floor fixed to prevent dirt collecting underneath and provide a secure base for patients.
