Veterans Affairs across the country work to provide all types of care for veterans. Recently, in Tampa Florida, the VA opened a behavioral health clinic which proudly features a variety of Pineapple furniture. The objective for this facility was to provide a safe space, aided by furnishings that are dependable options.
The facility is an outpatient clinic, meaning lower acuity pieces were required to furnish the spaces. Featuring over 60+ bedrooms, Sovie beds were selected as a main staple in the rooms. Sovie beds are a simple and stylistic choice that provides many durable benefits. The beds are strength tested to over 700lbs and feature solid reinforced under rails and an enclosed base.
To accompany the beds, our Acumen wardrobes, Acumen open desks and Bold chairs help complete the room set. Acumen wardrobes come in a selection of configurations, offering hanging and drawered options to maximize storage space. The range features scalloped handles and piano hinges to reduce ligature risks and offers an optional slopped top that helps prevent climbing.
The Acumen open desk is designed without doors or drawers to also reduce the risk of hiding contraband and damage. The fixed shelves provide strength, and the smooth rounded corners create a unique design esthetic as well as added safety benefits to residents and staff.
The Bold chair accompanies the open desk in the bedrooms as well as tables in the communal areas. The Bold chair is a versatile stacking chair for use across multiple environments. Featuring an easy-to clean surface, the chair is made from 100% recyclable material and free of hardware and fixings for maximum safety.
Pineapple strives to provide our clients with safe, durable, and dependable furniture that is built to last.
