Pineapple has proudly won three Nightingale awards at this year’s Healthcare Design Expo + Conference. We received recognition in the Behavioral Health Bathroom Fittings and Furnishings and the Anti-Ligature & Reduced-Ligature Furnishings categories – areas where we continually strive to lead the industry.
Our Arc Basin was awarded Gold in the Behavioral Health Bathroom Fittings & Furnishings category, featuring a seamless design to minimize ligature risks in behavioral health environments. The sensor-operated taps and reduced-ligature strainer waste also help to maximize safety in bathrooms. The most unique feature of the Arc Bathroom Range is the invisible fixing mechanism, where the fixings are completely hidden to prevent tampering and improve safety.
We won silver in the Anti-Ligature & Reduced-Ligature Furnishings category for both the Ryno Wall Bed and the Ryno Wall Desk. These two products are amongst our newest releases and offer full peace of mind for both users and staff. The Ryno Wall Desk features a tapered angled design that minimizes ligature risks. This robust wheelchair-accessible desk saves space, with adjustable height based on the user, as well as offering several customizations.
The Ryno Wall bed is the latest addition to the Ryno Range. With one flared side to improve patient mobility and access to caregivers, the wall bed also features one flat side that allows the bed to be fitted flush against the wall. This fit reduces concealment opportunities and allows for maximum room space to be utilized. The bed is available with or without storage and features an anti-concealment base plate. Both Ryno products are a one-piece design, waterproof, and available in 14 vibrant colors.
